So, let me put it this way, does anyone, up to and including the former president, Mr. Clinton, have any idea what is the problem with dylantree/pool THIS TIME? Any inside info. or inaccurate estimates of when it might be operating again? Sign me Curious in the Bull City.

I haven't heard anything from Mike lately. When its regular ISP/host collapsed in early September, he moved the server to a temporary, month-to-month ISP. It's been about a month since then; he may be moving the server to a more permanent host.
But there are reports that some people can access part of the current server using Mozilla/Firefox as their browser, which suggests a software/configuration problem. Not having more than the smallest of clues regarding the tech info involved, I can't say much on that.

I use Mozilla and get nothing When i try watchtower site get this message You don't have permission to access /phorum/list.php on this server. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/1.3.31 Server at www.allalongthewatchtower.dk Port 80 I am sure they will soon fix problem Let' hope so anyway

There were a few people able to get as of yesterday, but even these folks aren't getting in today.
Our wise moderator's guess sounds logical.

The Dylantree sites have been moved to a new server, waiting for the DNS to be resolved. Should be up and running before the new tour!

Thanks for the update, but I'm slightly confused. Do you mean that the dylantree domain name isn't associated with its IP address yet -- if so, Mike will be able to announce the "hardwired" address quickly even if the DNS problem isn't settled -- or that the "hardwired" address hasn't been assigned yet? (Or that the way the phorum software is configured, site navigation won't be practical until the DNS issues are settled?)
Feel free to answer "I'm just a messenger, and reading your questions makes my head hurt." Writing them did that to me, and I'm not quite positive they make enough sense. :-)

Hi Bill, Ow! My head is hurting! ;D
Not sure what is happening at this point. I can't get to the pool using the FoxFire browser anymore, for whatever that is worth. Am receiving "page cannot be found" message instead of "Forbidden 403", so evidently something is going on.
