is a show I attended, and it was pretty life altering...
SANTA CRUZ 3/16/2000.....2nd night of two in the Civic Center. You could feel the room change during SONG TO WOODY when someone yelled LEADBELLY, and the crowd was hipped right into it.....it felt like traveling back in time. HIGHLANDS made its way later on. Bob commented how he WISHED THEY COULD PLAY THERE EVERY NIGHT. Not just another show. He realised 3 songs within a couple of months on Euro singles. I have not been quite the same since. And I was already a fan for 23 years.

"Great White Wonder". I bought it in Los Angeles in '69-70; fascinating songs. Felt like a secret privilege ... I was so amazed that I could even buy an album like that, I went back to buy a second, in case I wore the first one out...

That's almost to hard to answer. I like "No Photographs Please" a lot. Or maybe even "Romance in Durango" .....almost imposible to answer.

There are too many great shows to have a favourite ...maybe we are all hoping for something to come which we'll think at the time is better than even the best. Who knows. It might happen; you never know. I go through liking certain periods, then go off that idea and just drool over everything I put on the player. Maybe what gets to me is NOT hearing something I know has happened! Like Mashantucket in 2008 ... I thot it had come out, but if it did I can't find it around where I am ... maybe you know better and can tell me. Anyway, cheers for now.
