Hi Bill I seem to be able to log on from PC's other than the one I registered on, but unable to make a post. Is this the way things have been setup ?? Apollo

No, it shouldn't work like that. I've been able to post from more than one machine, and I've posted to other message boards hosted by proboards from more than one machine.
There are three possible explanations I can think of. One is that (like me) you don't like leaving an open account on somebody else's machine, and have set the "keep me logged in" time too low -- I've had trouble if I set it below 30 minutes, sometimes below 60 minutes.
The second is that the machine you're trying to log in from is rejecting the proboards cookie; if that's the case, you'll be sent the "logged in" screen, but you won't really be logged in. If (when) this happens to you again, check to see if you can access the Trader List board. (It's not quite open for business, but go ahead.) If you're not really logged in, you won't be able to look at the board. If you can see the board, then it's purely a posting problem.
The third possibility is that you're still logged in on your original system. I'm not too familiar with the board's security setup, but it may be that you can't be logged in from two machines at once.
