From 1979 - San Francisco 16.11.79 bootlegged as "Contract with the Lord". One song "In the garden" is cut but theyve added the same song from Santa Monica as a bonus track. Set doesnt include the backing singers though. For fun value, check out the shows in Tempe,Arizona from 25 and (especially) 26.11.79 which were Bob's first "on the road" shows with his new material in front of a pretty hostile audience. Born-again Bob takes no nonsense from them and effectively tells them theyre going to burn. Great fun. from 1980 theres a soundboard from Denver 22.1.80 but its only a few songs. best of the spring tour are the Toronto shows which were taped for an unreleased live album.. The 20th April show is available as a pro-shot video/DVD. The DVD I have is the Dylan set - the video I have (in lesser quality) is the full show. From the fall "Musical retrospective" tour. Where do you start? A fantastic series of shows. Get any of the 14 shows from the Warfield in San Francisco and you wont go wrong. The last few shows from 11.11.80 onwards are IMO the pick of the bunch, with 11,12,15 and 16 November being particular standouts. A couple are available as soundboards but not full shows.Dylan did a short tour that followed these shows which are also pretty good. Portland 3.12.80 being a strong one. from 1981 : Earls Court 29.6.81 - distributed on www.dylantree.com as "A Birds Nest in Your Hair" is a nice audience recording of a show, which also includes the backing singers. Theres also good soundboards of the Dylan sets from Oslo, Avignon, New Orleans and Houston. I also happen to like Birmingham (5.7.81) and Munich (19.7.81) Hope thats of some use

Contract With The Lord show (16 Nov 79) now has a version with superior sound - "A Better Contract" (I believe there's a third version which includes the opening set by the backing singers - anyone know anything about this?).
